1 can of 450 g rinsed black beans
1/2 green pepper, cut into pieces
1/2 onion, cut into feathers
3 cloves of garlic

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

Method of preparation

In a medium bowl, pass the black beans with a fork until it has a paste consistency.

In a kitchen processor, mix the peppers, onions and garlic well. Then mix with the beans.

In a small bowl, beat the egg and add the chili, cumin and sauce. Then pour the mixture over the previous one and mix well. Add the breadcrumbs and stir until it is sticky and does not crumble. Divide into 4 meatballs for burgers.

If you put on the grill, put the meatballs on aluminum foil and cook for about 8 minutes on each side. If you are cooking in the oven, it must be preheated to 190 degrees C, and the meatballs are placed on the baking sheet and cooked for 10 minutes on each side.

Vegan burger with mushrooms


1 small diced yellow onion
1 clove chopped garlic
3 chopped green onions
1/2 teaspoon cumin
3/4 cup diced mushrooms
400 g white beans
1 teaspoon parsley

Method of preparation

Saute the yellow onion and garlic for 3-5 minutes, until soft.

Add green onions, chopped mushrooms and cumin and cook for another 5 minutes (or until mushrooms are cooked).

Pass the beans well, then combine with the mixture of onions, garlic and mushrooms. Separate into meatballs for burgers of equal size.

Heat 2 tablespoons oil in the pan and cook the meatballs for about 3 minutes on each side.

Vegan tofu burgers


1/2 pack of solid tofu, well squeezed with water
1 diced yellow onion
3 diced green onions
2 tablespoons wheat germ
2 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons granulated garlic
2 tablespoons soy sauce
a pepper powder
butter for frying

Method of preparation

In a bowl, break the tofu into small pieces, then pass it.

Add the yellow and green onions, wheat germ, flour, garlic powder, soy sauce and a pinch of pepper to the bowl and mix well.

Separate into meatballs for burgers of equal size.

Heat 2 tablespoons oil in the pan and cook the meatballs for about 5 minutes on each side, until golden and crispy.

  • 2 teaspoons ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • 1 tablespoon of flax seeds soaked in 2 & frac12 tablespoons of warm water
  • 3 tablespoons wholemeal flour
  • guacamole sauce prepared from 2 avocados, a little green onion, a little parsley, lemon juice, salt and pepper
  • 4 wholemeal buns
  • a few lettuce leaves

Put the onion, garlic, ginger, walnuts and fresh coriander in a blender, then chop them. Then add the spices, rice, basil, half the amount of cooked lentils and start the blender again. Put the mixture in a bowl and add the whole lentils, ketchup, flax seeds soaked in water, oil and use your hands to incorporate the newly added ingredients. Fill with wholemeal flour, mix once more and then leave in the fridge for 10 minutes to cool.

If after cooling the obtained paste is too wet, you can add more flour. Then shape the whole mixture into 4 meatballs. Grease a pan with a little oil and put the meatballs in the pan. You will cook them for 4-6 minutes on each side.

Cut the buns in half, grease them with a layer of guacamole, then place between the two halves the vegetarian meatballs, salad, but also a few slices of tomatoes.

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 3 tablespoons flax seeds
  • 1/3 cup hot water
  • 1 can of black beans, washed and dried
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • & frac34 cup of chopped red onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 cup of grated carrot
  • 1/3 cup chopped parsley
  • & frac12 cup of sunflower lamb, pulled into the pan
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin
  • & frac12 cup of oat bran
  • & frac12 cane of breadcrumbs
  • 1-2 tablespoons wholemeal flour
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 wholemeal buns
  • toppings of your choice: lettuce leaves, tomato slices, baked pepper strips, pickles

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.

Put the flax seeds soaked in warm water.

Meanwhile, turn much of the canned beans into puree with a blender. Put the pasta obtained in a bowl and add the whole grains.

In a pan, heat the oil over low heat, sauté the onion and garlic with a pinch of salt. It is then incorporated into the bean paste in the bowl, after which the hydrated flax seeds, grated carrot, parsley, sunflower lambs, soy sauce, paprika, oregano, as well as cumin are added. Top with oat bran, breadcrumbs and wholemeal flour until the mixture thickens. Season with salt and pepper, then form, with your hands, 8 meatballs.

Place the meatballs in the tray covered with baking paper and put in the oven. After 15 minutes, turn the meatballs on the other side and leave for another 5-10 minutes.

Then cut the burger buns in half and place the meatballs between the two halves, along with the desired toppings.
